Amends Section 25-7-37 of Mississippi Code to allow county surveyors to charge fees agreed upon between the surveyor and the party engaging services, replacing the previously fixed fee schedule.

Removes the following statutory fee limits: $15.00 per day for survey attendance, $7.50 per day for plat preparation, $5.00 per day for additional plats, $5.00 per chain-carrier per day, and $2.00 per survey recording.

Brings forward Section 25-7-39 establishing that surveyor fees shall be paid by the parties engaging services, with fees stated on court-ordered plats to be allowed in the bill of costs.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
