Amends Section 99-19-73 of Mississippi Code to make technical corrections to how state assessments are imposed, collected, and deposited from court fines and penalties

Consolidates various itemized fund allocations into single "General Fund" totals for different violation categories: $90.50 for traffic violations, $243.50 for Implied Consent Law (DUI) violations, $89.00 for game and fish violations, $121.75 for other misdemeanors, and $280.50 for felonies

Removes references to specific dollar amounts previously designated for individual special funds (such as State Court Education Fund, Law Enforcement Officers Training Fund, Crime Victims' Compensation Fund, etc.) and redirects assessments to the State General Fund

Directs the Department of Finance and Administration to deposit state assessments into the State General Fund or appropriate special funds, replacing the previous pro rata distribution system based on violation counts

Effective date of July 1, 2016
