Amends Mississippi's compulsory school attendance law to require school attendance officers to file a youth court petition when a child accumulates three or more unlawful absences during a school year.

Authorizes youth court to order adjudicated children to complete 16 hours of community service within 30 days of adjudication for unlawful absences.

Modifies youth court probation conditions to include completion of 16 hours of community service as an authorized condition for juveniles ordered to enroll or reenroll in school.

Effective July 1, 2016.
