Revises Section 57-117-5 to add a third option for health care industry zone certification: counties containing two hospitals, a community college teaching health care courses, and corporate headquarters of a hospital administrative services company.

Maintains existing certification options: three contiguous counties with 375+ acute care hospital beds and/or counties with a $250 million hospital with construction completed before July 1, 2017.

Expands proximity requirements to allow zones within five miles of hospitals with certificate of need and/or universities/colleges along Mississippi Highway 67 within master planned communities that are accredited and offer health care or pharmaceutical degrees.

Makes minor nonsubstantive changes to Section 57-117-3 definitions, including clarifying language about academic health science center requirements for qualified businesses.

Sunsets the Mississippi Health Care Industry Zone Act on July 1, 2022, with an effective date of July 1, 2016.
