Extends the deadline for the Department of Revenue to approve rebate applications under the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Act from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2020.

Motion picture production companies expending at least $50,000 in base investment, payroll, and/or fringes are eligible for rebates of up to 25% of base investment.

Additional rebates available: 25% for non-resident employee payroll and fringes, 30% for resident employee payroll and fringes, and 5% for honorably discharged veteran employee payroll and fringes.

Total rebates capped at $10,000,000 per motion picture project and $20,000,000 per fiscal year.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
