Extends the repeal date of the Task Force on the Future of Gifted Education in Mississippi from June 30, 2016 to June 30, 2018, effectively adding three years to the task force's existence.

Task force maintains 16-member composition including legislative leaders, representatives from gifted education institutions (Mississippi School for Math and Science, Karnes Center), state agencies, and community stakeholders including a former gifted student and parent.

Task force responsibilities include cultivating academic talent, examining gifted education infrastructure, assessing best practices from other states, projecting costs and returns on investment, and exploring coding curriculum additions.

Task force must provide recommendations to the State Board of Education, Governor, and Legislature on improving access to gifted education and advancing curriculum offerings based on individual student progress.

Members serve without state-funded compensation, though nonlegislative members may receive private funding; meetings require a quorum of nine members.
