Reenacts Mississippi Code Sections 85-7-301 through 85-7-315 to establish a lien for qualifying hospitals and physician practices providing uncompensated traumatic burn care.

Allows burn care providers to file a lien on causes of action for injured persons, with liens perfected by providing written notice to the patient and liable parties, then filing a verified statement with the chancery court clerk within 75 days (hospitals) or 90 days (practices).

Limits lien recovery to no more than 50% of the claimant's balance of any award, and requires providers to release claimants from further liens once payments are received.

Exempts lien provisions from applying to cases where medical costs were paid by Medicare/Medicaid or to workers' compensation claims.

Extends the repeal date of these burn care lien provisions from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2019.
