Extends the repeal date of Section 37-13-171 from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2021, continuing the requirement that every school district adopt a policy implementing abstinence-only or abstinence-plus education into its curriculum.

Maintains abstinence-only education as the state standard for sex-related education in public schools, with detailed curriculum requirements including teaching on consequences of out-of-wedlock pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Abolishes and dissolves the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force that was previously created to study and make recommendations on teen pregnancy prevention and sex-related educational implementation.

Effective date of July 1, 2016 for all provisions in the act.
