Authorizes law enforcement officers of the Mississippi Department of Transportation to administer chemical tests for alcohol and drug impairment under the implied consent law.

Adds MDOT officers to the list of authorized personnel who may direct chemical breath, blood, or urine tests when they have reasonable grounds and probable cause to believe a driver is impaired.

Requires MDOT officers administering tests to meet all educational and training requirements prescribed by the Board on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
