Deletes requirement that advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) must practice within a collaborative or consultative relationship with a physician or dentist.

Removes requirement for APRNs to file and maintain board-approved protocols or practice guidelines based on agreements with physicians or dentists.

Removes requirement that APRNs notify the board of changes in collaborative/consultative relationships with physicians or dentists.

Maintains APRN certification requirements including formal post-basic education, board-approved certifying body certification, or master's degree in nursing specialty area.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
