Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-1-208 to authorize commercial driver's license holders with diabetes to be examined by a board certified-advanced diabetes management nurse practitioner in addition to endocrinologists.

Allows diabetic commercial drivers to obtain licenses if they pass annual physical examinations attesting they are free of severe insulin reactions, properly manage their diabetes, and maintain safe driving ability.

Requires diabetic drivers to carry glucose sources, self-monitor blood glucose one hour before driving and every four hours while driving, and submit monitoring logs to their examiner.

Restricts commercial licenses issued under this provision to driving only within Mississippi boundaries.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
