Amends Section 43-27-203 to clarify that "High School Equivalency Diploma" and "GED" are synonymous terms for qualifying participants in the Mississippi National Guard Youth Challenge Program for graduation.

Expands eligibility for adult high school diplomas awarded by the Challenge Academy to include participants who meet requirements for a high school equivalency exam "or other high school equivalency exam" in addition to GED Testing Service standards.

Establishes in Section 37-4-5 that "High School Equivalency Diploma" means a high school diploma approved by the Mississippi Community College Board.

Defines "general educational development," "general education development," and "GED" as synonymous terms meaning a high school equivalency diploma as defined in state law.

Takes effect upon passage.
