Recognizes that 800,000 family caregivers in Mississippi provide 373 million hours of care annually, valued at nearly $5 million at $11.53 per hour

Notes that by 2030, 25% of Mississippi's population will be over age 65, with the 85-plus age group expected to increase 147% by 2040

Encourages employers to establish policies supporting workers who are caregivers and supports creation of volunteer "Caregiver Corps" to provide nonmedical assistance at no public expense

Calls for analysis of demographic trends to develop data-driven policies addressing current and future caregiving needs for aging populations
