Commends NMRLS for providing legal representation and advocacy to low-income individuals across a 39-county service area in North Mississippi, serving over 17,000 citizens as of 2015

Notes that NMRLS operates four offices in Clarksdale, Greenville, West Point, and Oxford, and continues a partnership with the University of Mississippi School of Law to train attorneys sensitive to the needs of low-income populations

Acknowledges that over 250,000 low-income individuals in NMRLS's service area exist, with at least one eligible client denied services for every one served due to lack of resources

Directs copies of the resolution to the Board of Trustees of NMRLS, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of Oxford, and members of the Capitol Press Corps
