Commends the 2015 Mississippi Lions All-State Band for winning the 31st International Lions Band Championship at the 98th Annual Lions International Convention Parade of Nations in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 25, 2015.

Recognizes the band's achievement with scores of 89.00, 98.00, 98.00, and a perfect 100.00, performing "Mambo" and "Tonight" from West Side Story.

Honors Director Jeff Cannon and Assistant Director Mickey Mangum for training and mentoring the student musicians.

Specifically commends Thomas Ly, a senior trombone player from Columbia High School, who advanced from sixth chair to first chair trombone and will compete with the band in the 99th parade in Japan.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to the directors and band members and the Capitol Press Corps.
