Commends the 2015 Mississippi Lions All-State Band for winning the 31st International Lions Band Championship at the 98th Annual Lions International Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 25, 2015.

Recognizes the band's performance of "Mambo" and "Tonight" from West Side Story with scores of 89.00, 98.00, 98.00, and 100.00 in the Division I, Category BII All-State Bands competition.

Honors Director Jeff Cannon and Assistant Director Mickey Mangum for training and inspiring the select group of musicians.

Specifically commends clarinetist Laura Ashley Sanderson, a senior from Purvis High School, for advancing from 15th chair as a 10th grader to 9th chair in the 2015 championship performance.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Director Jeff Cannon, Laura Ashley Sanderson, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
