Commends the Civil Air Patrol on its 75th anniversary, founded December 1, 1941, by civilian pilots who flew reconnaissance missions during World War II.

Recognizes the week of November 27 through December 3, 2016, as Civil Air Patrol Week throughout Mississippi.

Highlights Civil Air Patrol's operational achievements including spotting 143 German submarines during WWII, participating in up to 90 percent of Air Force inland search and rescue missions, and contributing $164 million in man-hours in 2015.

Notes Civil Air Patrol's current operations with over 8,000 air crew members, 30,000 emergency responders, more than 24,000 cadets, and 475 chaplains supporting disaster relief, emergency services, youth education in STEM subjects, and military support.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Colonel Mallory Woodcock, Commander of the Civil Air Patrol Mississippi Wing, and Capitol Press Corps.
