Commends and congratulates Trent Harmon of Amory, Mississippi, for winning the 2016 American Idol competition on April 4, 2016, as the final winner of the show's 15-season run.

Recognizes Harmon's musical achievements including performances in theatrical productions such as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis while a high school freshman, and appearances on "The Voice."

Notes Harmon earned a bachelor's degree in education and history from the University of Arkansas and has been singing since age two.

Acknowledges Harmon's prize package including a recording contract with a major label and a new Ford Fusion.
