Commends and congratulates the Starkville High School Yellowjackets Football Team for winning the 2015 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 6A State Championship with a 27-7 victory over Petal.

Recognizes the team's sixth state championship as a result of dominant defense, skilled offense with talented receivers, and teamwork under Head Coach Ricky Woods.

Acknowledges Coach Ricky Woods for broadening players' knowledge of the game, refining execution skills, and building upon a legacy of superior play and sportsmanship.

Affirms the Legislature's policy to commend outstanding student athletes whose hard work, determination, and resolve bring honor to their parents, school, and the state.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Starkville High School, Head Coach Ricky Woods, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
