Commemorates the life, legacy, and service of Hunter George "H.G." Weddington, who passed away on January 13, 2016, at age 98.

Recognizes Weddington's golfing career as an amateur golfer in Mississippi, including 83 tournament championships, multiple Mississippi Men's State Amateur Championship titles, and 30 holes-in-one.

Notes that Weddington and his daughter Lou are the only father-daughter duo inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.

Acknowledges his business success taking over General Supply and Machine in 1986, his military service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and his extensive community service with Rotary Club, Boy Scouts, and First Presbyterian Church.

Expresses sympathy to his survivors including children Alex and Lou, granddaughter Bailey, and other relatives and friends.
