Commends the East Central Community College Lady Warriors Softball Team for their 48-14 record in 2015 under Head Coach Kristin Chaney, finishing as the No. 2 team in the nation at the NJCAA Division II Softball National Championship

The team finished second in the MACJC South Division (22-6 record), second in the MACJC State Tournament, and second at the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament before advancing to nationals

Freshman first baseman Mahalia Gibson earned NJCAA First-Team All-American honors, the first for ECCC since 2001, along with multiple players receiving All-Region, All-State, and National All-Tournament recognition

The team was named both NJCAA and MACJC Women's Softball Academic Team of the Year with a 3.63 overall grade-point average

Head Coach Kristin Chaney recorded her 100th career victory on April 21, 2015, with a 9-0 shutout over Pearl River Community College
