Honors and celebrates the legacy of the Johnson, Banks, Carter, and Fleming families during their annual family reunion from July 1-3, 2016 at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Family Life Center in the Canton and Jackson areas.

Recognizes the families' African-American heritage and their significant contributions to Mississippi society in the fields of education, business, law, transportation, and industry.

Acknowledges the families' deep roots in Mississippi and their commitment to maintaining family traditions, communication, and support across multiple generations.

Directs distribution of the resolution to members of the Johnson, Banks, Carter, and Fleming families and the Capitol Press Corps.
