Commends Mr. Taveze Calhoun for being named one of 12 finalists for the 2015 William V. Campbell Trophy (the "Academic Heisman Trophy") by the National Football Foundation on December 8, 2015.

Recognizes Calhoun's achievements as a Mississippi State University football player, including playing in 45 games, starting 31 games, and serving as a 2015 team captain.

Notes Calhoun's academic accomplishments including three SEC Academic Honor Roll selections, an undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies, and current pursuit of a graduate degree in workforce leadership.

Highlights Calhoun's community service with the Salvation Army, nursing homes, humane societies, and tornado relief efforts for Louisville, Mississippi.

Acknowledges that Calhoun will receive an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship and will be the fourth Mississippi State football player to receive this National Scholar-Athlete honor.
