Commends Representative Linda Faye Coleman's 25-year legislative career representing House District 29, which includes all of Bolivar County and a portion of Sunflower County, beginning with her election in November 1991.

Recognizes her appointment by Governor Phil Bryant on March 9, 2016, to the bench of Mississippi's 11th Circuit Court District, effective immediately upon announcement.

Acknowledges her service as Chair of the House Committee on Fees and Salaries of Public Officers from 2006-2012 and her participation on 16 other House committees including Appropriations, Judiciary, Education, and Ways and Means.

Highlights her legal background including a juris doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law, admission to The Mississippi Bar, prior work with North Mississippi Rural Legal Services (1987-1994), and private legal practice since 1994 serving Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, and Tunica Counties.

Directs the Mississippi House of Representatives to furnish copies of this resolution to Representative Coleman and the Capitol Press Corps.
