Commends and congratulates the Bay High School Cheerleading Squad for earning second place at the Contest of Champions Cheerleading Nationals during the 2015-2016 season.

Recognizes the team's demonstration of originality, technical proficiency, and dedication despite facing adversity and being forced to alter their routine shortly before the national competition in Orlando, Florida.

Acknowledges Head Coach Courtney LaFontaine's leadership in guiding the team to the national championship in her third year of coaching at Bay High School.

Names 18 squad members and recognizes Keely Jones for receiving a "Wow Award" for outstanding performance during the competition.

Directs copies of the resolution to be provided to Head Coach LaFontaine, Bay High School Athletic Director Will Seymour, and the Capitol Press Corps.
