Commends Special Agent Lee Tartt for his distinguished law enforcement career and mourns his passing on February 20, 2016, while serving the State of Mississippi.

Recognizes Tartt's 22-year career in law enforcement, beginning with the Grenada Police Department in 1994 and continuing with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics starting in 2000.

Notes Tartt's accolades including being named Agent of the Year in 2011 and earning the H. Lane Caldwell Award for Valor in 2012.

Extends condolences to Tartt's surviving family, including his wife Deborah Harbin Tartt, two children, and fellow law enforcement officers.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Tartt's family and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
