Commends and congratulates Mr. David Tingle for being named STAR Teacher for the Pascagoula-Gautier School District.

Mr. Tingle has served as an educator in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District for 12 years and currently teaches 5th and 6th grade gifted programs at Singing River Academy.

STAR Teacher award was given to Mr. Tingle based on selection by Cameron Tingle, the student with the highest ACT score in the school district, who identified his father as the educator with the most significant impact on his life.

Recognizes Mr. Tingle's commitment to educating students and preparing future leaders for challenges ahead.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Tingle, Singing River Academy Principal Pam Rone, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
