Amends Section 73-25-35 to require nurse practitioners to practice under general supervision of a licensed physician within a 75-mile radius of the physician's primary office under a collaborative relationship approved by the State Board of Medical Licensure.

Limits each licensed physician to supervising no more than 6 nurse practitioners under a collaborative agreement.

Removes the requirement in Section 73-15-5 that advanced practice registered nurses must practice in a collaborative/consultative relationship with a physician or dentist, granting them full practice authority.

Removes collaborative relationship requirements from Section 73-15-20 for advanced practice registered nurses, including elimination of protocol/practice guideline filing requirements with the board.

Extends controlled substance prescriptive authority to certified registered nurse anesthetists in addition to certified nurse midwives and certified nurse practitioners (Schedules II-V after completing board-approved educational program).

Effective date is July 1, 2016.
