Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-21-105 to expand the definition of "abused child" to include children who are trafficked under the Mississippi Human Trafficking Act (Section 97-3-54 et seq.).

Includes trafficking by any person regardless of their relationship to the child as a form of child abuse under youth court jurisdiction.

Maintains existing protections for parental physical discipline by clarifying that reasonable spanking and discipline shall not be deemed abuse.

Makes technical correction to Section 43-21-105(y) regarding durable legal custody by updating pronoun references to "the child."

Takes effect upon passage.
