Amends Mississippi Code Section 73-25-35 to require nurse practitioners to practice through a collaborative relationship with a licensed physician approved by the State Board of Medical Licensure

Grants automatic waivers from distance requirements between nurse practitioners and their collaborating physicians in specified healthcare settings including emergency rooms, intensive care units, labor epidural services, and obstetrical suites

Extends distance requirement waivers to nurse practitioners working in State Department of Health services, State Department of Mental Health services, and community mental health centers

Allows waivers for federally funded health systems including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs), Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), and Managed Care Organizations serving Medicaid beneficiaries

Permits certified nurse practitioners to appeal denials of collaborative agreements by the State Board of Medical Licensure to the Mississippi Division of Medicaid within 30 days, with the division authorized to approve such agreements
