Amends Section 83-17-251 of Mississippi Code to add a new exemption from continuing education requirements for insurance agents who are 75 years of age or older and have held an agent's license in Mississippi for at least 10 years.

Continuing education requirements for license renewal currently require 12 hours for licenses held 18 months or less, and 24 hours (including 3 hours in ethics) for licenses held longer than 18 months.

Exempts qualifying agents from the mandatory continuing education hours while maintaining all other licensing requirements and exemptions that previously existed.

Takes effect upon passage.
