Increases chief county medical examiner or chief county medical examiner investigator salary from $900.00 to $1,250.00 per month, with minimum salary increased from $100.00 to $300.00 per month.

Establishes minimum monthly salary of $300.00 for deputy medical examiners and deputy medical examiner investigators, in addition to other compensation provided by law.

Increases fee for completed death investigation report from $125.00 to $200.00 per investigation, plus examiner's actual expenses.

Provides additional fees for SIDS death scene investigation reports: $50.00 for standard reports or $100.00 for examiners with advanced child death investigation training.

Effective date of October 1, 2016; section 41-61-75 repeals on July 1, 2017.
