Amends Mississippi Code Section 93-5-1 to add domestic violence as a thirteenth ground for divorce, increasing the total grounds from twelve to thirteen.

Defines domestic violence by reference to Section 97-3-7 and requires it to be established by clear and convincing evidence.

Applies to one or more instances of domestic violence, allowing injured parties to seek divorce on this ground.

Effective date is July 1, 2016.
