Abolishes the Mississippi Prison Industries Corporation effective July 1, 2016, transferring all duties, assets, liabilities, and employees to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Corrections to perform the functions of the corporation's chief executive officer and board of directors, and to reorganize positions and programs for efficiency.

Repeals Sections 47-5-531 through 47-5-575 (Mississippi Prison Industries Act of 1990) and removes references to the corporation from Section 47-5-938.

Amends Section 47-5-1251 to allow the Department of Corrections to directly employ offenders in the Prison Industry Enhancement Program rather than contracting with the nonprofit corporation.

Updates references throughout Mississippi Code so "Mississippi Prison Industries Corporation" means "Mississippi Department of Corrections."
