Authorizes Mississippi residents to purchase distinctive motor vehicle license tags identifying them as supporters of the Mississippi Physical Therapy Association upon payment of standard taxes, fees, and an additional $30 fee.

The $30 additional fee is due annually at vehicle registration renewal and is distributed as follows: $24 to the Mississippi Physical Therapy Association, $1 to the Mississippi Burn Care Fund, $2 to the State Highway Fund, and $1 to a special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.

County tax collectors retain $2 from each additional fee for deposit into the county general fund and process applications on forms prescribed by the Department of Revenue.

Replacement distinctive license tags cost $10, with the tax collector retaining 5% for the county general fund and the remainder distributed according to the standard fee distribution formula.

The act takes effect July 1, 2016.
