Creates Section 99-5-41 of the Mississippi Code to establish conditions for discharge or clearing of a bail bond.

Discharges a bail bond when the defendant appears and is found guilty, the charge is dismissed, or the charge is retired or remanded to files.

Discharges a bail bond when the defendant is tried in absentia and found guilty, or when present in court and pleads guilty or is found guilty with sentence pronounced.

Discharges a bail bond when the defendant is surrendered by the bail agent to the court, jail, or sheriff, or when placed on a nonadjudication sentence or ordered to attend alcohol or anger management classes.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
