Requires all applicants for Mississippi real estate broker, resident salesperson, and nonresident licenses to undergo fingerprint-based criminal history checks through the Mississippi Department of Public Safety and FBI, effective July 1, 2016.

Denies licenses to applicants whose real estate license was revoked within the past five years, or who have felony convictions within five years (or any felony involving fraud, dishonesty, breach of trust, or money laundering at any time).

Classifies criminal history records obtained by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission as confidential and exempt from public records disclosure, except when introduced as evidence in commission hearings or by court order.

Exempts persons who have held a broker's or salesperson's license in Mississippi for at least 25 years and are over age 70 from the background check requirement.

Charges applicants for the cost of conducting state and national criminal history record checks and requires commission adoption of rules to implement and enforce these provisions.
