Increases the maximum assistance per county from $650,000 to $720,000 under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program administered by the Department of Insurance.

Extends the number of fire trucks counties may receive from 11 to 12 total, with the twelfth truck eligible for up to $70,000 in assistance.

Adjusts the distribution schedule for counties at each eligibility level, allowing one additional fire truck per tier (e.g., counties with 10 prior trucks may now receive 2 additional trucks instead of 1).

Requires counties to pledge matching funds equal to at least one-tenth of requested assistance over a period not exceeding 10 years from local sources.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
