Appropriates $2,275,926.00 from the State General Fund for the Governor's office, staff, and Governor's Mansion operations for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017)

Appropriates an additional $599,022.00 from the State Treasury to the Governor's office for the same fiscal period

Authorizes 38 permanent full-time positions, 1 permanent part-time position, 7 time-limited full-time positions, and 0 time-limited part-time positions within the Executive Department

Requires the Mississippi Industries for the Blind be given preference when receiving equal bids on commodities or equipment purchases

Requires the Executive Department maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as fiscal year 2016, with comparable format for the fiscal year 2018 budget request
