Authorizes the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors to contract with the United States, its territories, any state, or political subdivisions to house minimum or medium security offenders in custody of those jurisdictions.

Eligible inmates must be classified as minimum or medium security, have no history of escape, and be sentenced for felonies or misdemeanors consistent with American Correctional Association Standards.

Allows the board of supervisors to enter into agreements for any acceptable time period and exercise all powers necessary to operate a correctional facility, including the power to incarcerate eligible offenders.

Permits the board to contract with the Department of Corrections or other state, federal, or local entities for inspection, monitoring, and assistance to maintain safe and secure facilities.

Prohibits Alcorn County from housing maximum security offenders under this authorization.
