Senate Concurrent Resolution 524

• Commends and congratulates the Hernando High School "Marching Tigers" Band and Director Len Killough for winning the Class 6A State Marching Band Championship for the second consecutive year on October 29, 2015, in Pearl, Mississippi

• Recognizes the band's hard work and discipline from Band Camp in July through multiple local competitions and their eight-minute championship performance

• Acknowledges the contributions of the band's "field crew" comprised of volunteer parents who donated significant time and effort

• Directs that the resolution be presented to Director Len Killough and Principal Freddie Joseph, forwarded to the DeSoto County Board of Education, and distributed to the Capitol Press Corps
