Extends condolences of the Mississippi Legislature to the family of State Representative Esther Harrison, who passed away on June 10, 2015, on her 69th birthday.

Harrison represented District 41 (Lowndes County) from January 2000 to her death, serving as a former teacher and business administrator.

Served as Chair of the House State Library Committee (2008-2012) and Vice Chair (2012-2016), and served on the Ways and Means Committee and as Co-Chair of the House Democratic Caucus.

Active in community organizations including the NAACP (serving as President of Lowndes County Branch), Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Eastern Star, and Lowndes County League of Voters; alumna of Mississippi University for Women.

Resolution directs that the resolution be presented to Harrison's surviving family, including her daughter Aubra Berenice Givens, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
