Mourns the passing of Willie Richardson, 76-year-old NFL and Jackson State University football legend and former Director of the Bureau of Capitol Facilities under the Musgrove administration.

Recognizes Richardson's induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 and his nine-season NFL career, primarily with the Baltimore Colts, including an appearance in Super Bowl III with the New York Jets.

Notes Richardson's professional accomplishments including First-Team All-Pro selection in 1967, Pro Bowl selections in 1967 and 1968, and career totals of 195 receptions for 2,950 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Records Richardson's inductions into the Jackson State Hall of Fame in 1978 and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in 1979, and his service as Director of Enforcement in the Weight Division of the Mississippi State Tax Commission beginning December 1980.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Richardson's surviving family, forwarded to the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
