Acknowledges Natchez's historical significance as a major cotton trade port and slave market, while recognizing the city's preservation of its diverse cultural heritage over three centuries.

Celebrates Natchez's multicultural identity shaped by American Indian, African, French, British, Spanish, African-American, Asian, Hispanic, Jewish, Italian, German, and Scottish influences.

Declares March 16, 2016, as "Natchez Tricentennial Day" in the State Capitol and encourages all Mississippians to participate in commemoration activities.

Directs presentation of the resolution to the Natchez Tricentennial Commission, City of Natchez leadership, and the Mississippi Office of Tourism.
