Recognizes the Hollandale-Simmons High School "Blue Devils" football team for winning the 2015 MHSAA Class 1A State Championship with a perfect 12-0 record.

Acknowledges the December 4, 2015 championship game victory over Resurrection High School by a score of 25-9 on the University of Mississippi campus.

Honors District Coach of the Year Tavares Johnson and recognizes seven players selected First Team All-District and two players selected First Team All-State (TreVeon Nelson and Marquez Pam).

Commends the team for also winning Regional and District Championships, WXVT Team of the Year, and various individual awards from the Delta Democrat Times.

Directs presentation of the resolution to the football team, Coach Tavares Johnson, Superintendent Angela Johnson, the Hollandale School District Board of Trustees, and the Capitol Press Corps.
