Designates March 29, 2016, as "Vietnam Veterans Day in Mississippi" to commemorate the 50-Year Anniversary of the Vietnam War

Honors the more than 3 million Americans who served in Vietnam and pays tribute to the more than 58,000 who died in the conflict

Acknowledges that the last U.S. troops departed Vietnam on March 29, 1973, and recognizes the challenges many veterans faced upon returning home

Calls upon all Mississippians to observe the day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities

Directs the resolution be forwarded to the Mississippi American Legion, Mississippi Military Department, and State Board of Education
