Northpoint Christian School "Lady Trojans" defeated Knoxville Webb 63-42 on March 5, 2016, to win their first TSSAA Class A State Championship in school history.

The team finished the season with a 31-2 record; key players included Ashtyn Baker (22 points), Jade Wells (16 points), Lindsey Whiteside (13 points), and Lauren Gross (10 points) in the championship game.

Ashtyn Baker, Lindsey Whiteside, Jade Wells, and Lauren Gross were named to the State All-Tournament Team, with Baker earning State Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.

The resolution commends and congratulates the team and Head Coach Barry Gray for bringing honor to their school, community, and the State of Mississippi.
