Robert Woodard II was named Most Valuable Player and led the team with ferocious dunks and fluid shooting; Cameron Douglas contributed 10 points; McDavid led with 13 points

Coach Luther Riley achieved his sixth state title overall, including a Grand Slam title previously won at Provine High School; the team finished the season 26-5

Resolution directs the resolution be presented to Coach Riley, Columbus High School Principal Scott Undray, forwarded to the Columbus School Board, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps
