Commends and congratulates the Ripley High School "Marching Tigers" Band for winning the 2015 MHSAA Class 4A State Band Championship with their "Lion King" show at Pearl High School.

Recognizes Band Director Sam Cunningham, co-directors Tim Jackson and Nathan Waycaster, and Senior Drum Major Grace-Anne Elliott for their roles in achieving the state title, the band's first since winning in Class 3A in 2012.

Notes the band competed in five marching competitions in north Mississippi prior to earning Gold at the state championship, along with a First Place finish in Music and Third Place in Color Guard.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Band Director Sam Cunningham and Principal Buck Buchanan, forwarded to the South Tippah County School Board, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
