Keep Ridgeland Beautiful won the William Nash Award from Keep America Beautiful at its National Conference on February 1, 2016, for successfully implementing the Keep America Beautiful system.

Keep Ridgeland Beautiful hosted the 2015 Keep Mississippi Beautiful's Great American Cleanup State Kickoff at Midway Park and revitalized Friendship Park, a 40-year-old community park.

Olde Towne Middle School students from the Technology Student Association designed and built a pergola for Midway Park and received the Youth Project Award for their contributions.

Keep Ridgeland Beautiful launched the "Don't Flick it or You'll Get a Ticket" campaign to reduce cigarette litter, planted flowers along bike trails, and helped Ridgeland High School establish a recycling plan.

The Mississippi Legislature commends Keep Ridgeland Beautiful and extends best wishes to the City of Ridgeland, with the resolution to be presented to Mayor Gene F. McGee.
